I really appreciate all the people that encourage me with their kind words. I truly love them dearly. Encouragement for a pastor means so much in the world today. One of the things that has always blessed me in my ministry is to hear someone say, “I really appreciated the message today,” or to say, “I believe that God laid a particular message on your heart to preach today because He knew I would be here.” Its also amazing to me how many people want to encourage you with what they think God’s plan is for you. Maybe God has laid you on their heart. I don’t know. I do know they mean well. I often have people telling me I have a gift to preach, or you have a gift to teach, or you need your own Church, or you need to pastor your own flock. Well, while that is encouraging, only the Lord Jesus knows about that. I may one day pastor a church, preach more, teach more, or have a Church that I call my flock. But “While I’m Waiting,” I will worship, I will serve, I will honor Him with all that I am. Until two nailed scared hands lead me elsewhere, I will be confident and bold, I will not faint, I’ll be running the race, where He has me. So much work to do with the present calling on my life… “While I’m Waiting”
