Are you in a Crisis? Do you feel a Crisis coming on? We all face times of Crisis. I had a good friend last night at Church to remind me to look for the good in time of Crisis. Let me share a little bit of good news on how to overcome that Crisis.

King Hezekiah was about to be attacked by the Assyrian army and plundered and this was his reaction. “And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the Lord, and spread it before the Lord. Then Hezekiah prayed to the Lord, … (Isaiah 37: 14-15)

The outcome from this situation was an angel of the Lord fought the battle for Hezekiah and destroyed a large number of the Assyrian army and they turned back and did not seek to destroy Hezekiah.

Again Hezekiah was about to die from a sickness and here was his reaction. “In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord,” (Isaiah 38: 1-2)

The outcome from this situation was God granted Hezekiah fifteen more years of life.

Friends there is Power in Prayer. Hezekiah, on both occasions sought the Lord in prayer. Will God heal you as He did Hezekiah? He can. Will God destroy the Crisis in front of you as He did for Hezekiah? He can. We have not because we ask not… Take your crisis to the Lord in prayer. Run to the House of God and seek prayer.
